Nearshoring Castings from Mexico

In today’s globalized economy, businesses are frequently facing a major decision to make: where should they source their manufacturing from while optimizing resources, reducing their carbon footprint and having short delivery times without compromising their high-quality products? A solution that has come up in the recent years, is nearshoring.

If you are reading this, I imagine you are in the world of steel castings, and to be honest we could be your best option to source your castings from. Ramsa is a Mexican steel casting foundry founded in 1958, exporting since 1980. We offer finished machined sand and investment castings in a wide variety of alloys in low, medium volume runs and Kanban programs from 1 lb to 5200 lb.

Our fully equipped NDT labs and our teams’ experience allows us to deliver quality castings that exceed the most demanding OEM requirements around the world. All of that means that we would be the only company you’d have to deal with once you decide to manufacture your castings with us. We offer an “all in one roof” manufacturing complying to ISO 9001-2015, PED 2014/68/EU and NORSOK M-65.

At Ramsa we understand the importance of short lead times as we know how project deadlines impact directly on the cost. Our lead times start at 1 week once we have an approved pattern, and up to 60 weeks when our experienced engineering team develops a pattern for you. Once your castings are ready to be shipped, it’s a matter of logistics… we can ship to the nearest border and deal with Mexican customs for you.

If you are looking to buy nearshoring castings from Mexico and you’re located in North America, we are your option to go to. The USMCA, free trade agreement between the US, Canada and Mexico enables the transit through border lines of manufactured goods easy, not to mention the geographic proximity that there is. We are located in the heart of Mexico, only 10 hours away from the US-Mexican border.
